2*- Engrade: A New Gradebook Option for GUHSD Teachers!

District teachers now have another supported digital gradebook program option – and teachers might really appreciate the new format and functions. Engrade provides teachers a web-based service to maintain student grades and options to further manage classes at your convenience – while also giving students and parents online access to grades 24/7. Log on anywhere to securely input student grades….post assignments and even grades to those assignments…make a seating chart…send messages to students or parents…and more!  (If you do message a parent, please make sure they are the qualified parent to be communicating with.)

Engrade is simply an additional option in district-provided grading programs. The District will continue to support “Making The Grade,” so you do not have to switch grading programs if you do not desire to do so.

This Fall, Ed Tech Resources will conduct several introductory classes on Engrade. Please visit http://edtech.guhsd.net/enroll.php) for classes and to register. There is limited space, so please register early. These classes will provide step-by-step instructions on setting up a class, importing rosters, creating assignments, and much more!

If you are ready to jump in to trying Engrade on your own, simply accept the “invitation” below based on your school. By accepting the invitation, your classes will be linked with your school, allowing students and parents to log in and see all site teachers that are using Engrade. Please make sure you join the correct school.
